Cryotherapy Against Breast Cancer
Cryotherapy is a new word in oncology. This method was discovered by physicians recently, but proven research has shown excellent results in the fight against cancer. American scientists have found that a new technique really works.
What is cryotherapy?
In simple words, cryotherapy is a freezing technique that helps to destroy malignant tumors of the breast, allowing to avoid surgery.
For the purposes of the experiment, patients of Karmanos Cancer Institute and Wayne State University in Michigan were invited to test the effect of cryotherapy on theirselves. The results of the biopsy, which was carried out after the experiment, were negative. Thus, it was found that the procedure is not only a cure for the terrible disease, but also allows you to save a beautiful chest.
How does it work?
When conducting cryotherapy the needle filled with liquid nitrogen, which is continuously cooled, is inputted to patient's body. Nitrogen enters the body in small portions, and this makes it possible not to cool the whole needle, but its right end. This method helps to avoid the unsightly scars and various injuries, which the patient can obtain by undergoing the operation.
Moreover, the introduction of liquid nitrogen into skin causes immune response that triggers the production of large quantities of natural anti- cancer cells. This helps to eliminate single cells that are affected with cancer and remain in the body even after the operation, and to avoid the recurrence of the disease and metastasis.
