"Erasmus" University Hospital

"Erasmus" University Hospital is an academic medical center founded in 1977 at the Free University of Brussels, which currently conducts the researches, clinical and educational based studies. The hospital was named after Erasmus of Rotterdam, the world-famous humanist Erasmus of Rotterdam.

Medical Center "Erasmus" is one of the largest diversified medical institutions known around the world. "Erasmus" University Hospital: Specialties

The main feature of the medical center is that all its branches are equipped with only the latest medical equipment, apparatus and instruments and for many of them there are no analogues in the world.

For example, twenty-surgical rooms are equipped with special robotic devices that allow to conduct even the most complex surgery with minimal risk of complications. In addition, the clinic actively uses the aparatus called "Gamma Knife" for stereotactic radiosurgery.

The medical center is Europe's largest transplant center, where one can successfully perform a lung, pancreas, liver, kidney, heart, cornea, bone, hands transplantation.

Thanks to modern diagnostic equipment, as well as the use of new methods of treatment, many patients can receive hospital treatment on an outpatient basis. For this purpose, there is a comfortable hote located in close proximity to the clinic (about 500 meters away from it). There the foreing patients and those who accompany them can stay.
