The Study

The Results

Team found that hairdressers who failed to perform any hair had an ortho-toluidine of 7 pg/g . In contrast, that shot up to 19 pg/g in hairdressers weekly who did 1-7 waving treatments and 22 pg/g in hairdressers who did more than 8 each week.

This study's writers advocated that hairdressers reduce contact between hair dyes and skin, while also being confident to wear protective gloves.
