International Exhibition of Medical Tourism
October 14-16, 2014 in KyivExpoPlaza, Exhibition Centre, at 2В Salyutna Str., Kyiv, will hospitably open III International Exhibition of Medical Tourism, SPA&Wellness - Healthcare Travel Expo, focused on the practice of providing high quality medical services in Ukraine and abroad. The exhibition will take place simultaneously with the main event of the healthcare branch of Ukraine – V International Medical Forum «Medicine Innovations – the Nation’s health».
Holding of the exhibition Healthcare Travel Expo is determined by growing interest to the market of medical services on the territory of Ukraine and abroad. According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, more than 23 million Ukrainians went abroad in 2013. Our compatriots go abroad not only to relax, but also to treat. Thus, according to official data, more than 150 thousand people per year are discovering access to the high level of medicine, comprehensive diagnosis and treatment in foreign countries. Geography of visitors is increasing every year. Today, Israel, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Poland, Finland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Thailand, Austria are the most popular destinations among Ukrainians for medical treatment abroad.
Whereas, according to publicly available information 150 thousand foreigners came for treatment to Ukraine last year. These data emphasizes again the mutuality of interests of all market medical tourism participants and points to the need to create a platform for sharing experience and improving the provision of services.
The exhibition provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the companies working in the field of medical tourism, medical, rehabilitation and physiotherapy centers, private clinics, hospitals, resorts, etc.

The Exhibition will be held with support of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine, State Agency of Ukraine for Tourism and Resorts, National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, and with the assistance of the Hungarian National Tourist Office, Polish Tourist Organization, Embassy of Malaysia in Ukraine, Embassy of Republic of Turkey Culture and Information Office in Ukraine, the Commercial Section of Austrian Embassy – ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA, Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council, Cuba Chamber of Commerce.
Exhibition is aimed to combine the major suppliers of medical and health services, representatives of tourist business for organization of outbound and inbound medical tourism not only from Ukraine, but also from countries near and far abroad.
In a short time, International Exhibition of Medical Tourism, SPA&Wellness - Healthcare Travel Expo has gained confidence and started a productive cooperation with the Commercial Section of the Austrian Embassy - ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA; Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism of Bulgaria; Embassy of Cuba; Israel Ministry of Tourism; Jordan Tourism Board; Trade and Investment Promotion Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kyiv; Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council; Latvian Health Tourism Cluster; Embassy of Republic of Turkey Culture and Information Office in Ukraine and others.

The exhibition provides special programs - Business Point and Buyer’s Program, which allow participants to maximize their time and establish strong business contacts with visitors (representatives of government agencies, doctors, experts of medical tourism, with companies working in the field of medical tourism, representatives of professional industry organizations, travel agencies, experts and SPA-WELNESS-industry, representatives of insurance companies, agencies of medical tourism, VIP-guests, suppliers, buyers and consumers).
