​"Live" Yogurt Is An Unexpected Decision To Treat Allergies

Probiotics (foods with beneficial bacteria) can save from seasonal allergies. It is calimed by Dr. Justin Turner, who references the results of more than 20 studies. The conclusion is clear: probiotics enhance the well-being of people who are prone to seasonal allergies. Known probiotics are able to modify the intestinal flora, thereby they can regulate immune response. As a result, the immune system ceases to respond to allergens.

In the last analysis there was used data from more than 1,900 people. In 17 of the 23 studies in people with allergies and probiotics in the diet showed improvement (they started having better quality of life and weakened allergy). In six studies, improvement due to probiotics was not visible. Which probiotics, bacterial strains and dosages are most effective has not been established.

According to Live Science, experts do not yet know how exactly probiotics affect the immune system. These conclusions should therefore be treated with caution. Meanwhile, the standard treatment of seasonal allergies involves the use of antihistamines and decongestants, steroid nasal sprays.
